DaWo is proud to announce that, on June 30th, our partner and head of our Intellectual Property practice—Dan Xu— was invited by the University of International Business and Economics in Shanghai to give a lecture to the faculties regarding Intellectual Property rights in higher education. Topics of her lecture included the current legal landscape of Intellectual Property in China, a closer look at the different categories of work covered under Copyright Law, case studies of common IP disputes in higher education, and risk management regarding Intellectual Property in higher education. Dan’s lecture was warmly received by the faculty members of the University.
