From July 12 to 16, 2021, DaWo Law Firm Shanghai and DaWo Academy will be hosting a free of charge Legal Summer Camp for Shanghai-based students.
During the summer camp, the participating students will discover how a real law firm works. Our lawyers will give them an insider’s view of working in a law firm. Besides that, the students will get the chance to experience the essentials of the legal profession and learn the basic principles of law in various fields such as corporate, intellectual property, contracts & employment, civil, criminal law and litigation. They will also gain an understanding about how law affects business but also our daily lives.
The summer camp will be concluded with a moot court, where students will defend their “client’s interests” in a mock lawsuit.
Social responsibility
The Junior Legal Summer Camp is part of DaWo’s Corporate Social Responsibility program, intended to initiate young students to law and law studies as a way to help them determine their future career choices, while acquiring a first real-life experience.
